OUTSTANDING COOPERATIVES HERE are awarded during the celebration of the Cooperative Month 2018.

City Mayor Joseph Evangelista confered the awards on October 25, 2018 that served as the highlight of the coop celebration in the city.

Categories were divided into the amount of assets for each cooperative.

These are: Micro P3M below, Small P3M-P10M, Medium P10M-P100M and Large P100M up.

Awarded were: Cotabato Provincial Government Employees Retirees Multi Purpose Cooperative COPGREMCO for Best Micro Coop, Kidapawan City National High School Teachers Employees Retirees MPC KCNHTER for Best Small Coop; Kidapawan City Division Office Teachers Retirees Employees MPC KCDOTREMCO for Best Medium Cooperative.

Also given recognition were Sta Catalina MPC as Best Cooperative Branch and Mediatrix Multi-Purpose Cooperative for Best Large Cooperative.

The City Government has partnered with the 44 registered cooperatives in the City Cooperative Development Office-CCDO in facilitating the livelihood assistance program for identified beneficiaries.

Technical assistance were also given by the CCDO to cooperatives such as:preparation of reports to be submitted to the Cooperative Development Authority, provided Financial Management Training to cooperatives; and served as mediating party for concerns of cooperatives.

Prior to the Culmination Program on October 25, other activities featured during the Coop Month are Tree Planting Activity; Cooperative Officers Forum; and Blood Letting Activity.

The Cooperative Congress for all Cooperatives in the Province of North Cotabato is scheduled on October 30, 2018 at the Provincial Government Gymnasium . (CIO/LKOasay)
